A Bit About Me

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a Broadcast Journalism degree and a minor in Political Science concentrated in Environmental Studies.

The dream? A documentary series celebrating the environment in different cultures! While learning and exploring the effects of climate change in developing countries, their cultures, livelihoods and much more.

I'm currently a Senior Account Executive with The Tag Experience, specializing in clients in the luxury, spirits, health and wellness, sports and entertainment industries. I'm fortunate to work with the Miami Marlins, spirit brands such as Desolas Mezcal, Kintsugi Sake and Grand Brulot, Hostage Tape Mouth Tape and more. I lead the majority of accounts and manage the rest, from client relations, creative writing, and developing media relations (and friends!) to business development, event planning and hosting, I do it all!

I gained tremendous experience and life skills during my year in Augusta, GA working as a multimedia journalist and weekend anchor for WRDW WAGT 12 26. I covered over 200 stories focusing on crime, corruption, the local economy, job opportunities, medical care and more. Sharing stories from an 8-year-old's funeral to generational family businesses, you learn to have widely diverse conversations; some may be extremely difficult and uncomfortable, others exciting and heartwarming. All the while, carrying around a camera, giant tripod and other equipment running from one interview to the next making sure you're making deadlines.

I had the pleasure of working with The City Drive Production Group as a Production Assistant. They produce the live concert documentary series, Landmarks Live in Concert, which takes the audience to a major landmark, travels the country with the star performing, and a concert.  We produced an Emmy-winning short documentary film, Breathe, Nolan, Breathe to bring light to the importance of hazing in Greek Life on college campuses and how to prevent further hazing-related deaths.

“The Sound of Sunshine” is the name of the hour-long radio show I hosted weekly at Seacrest Studios in Levine Children’s Hospital to over 200+ patients and families. It’s all about making the world a better place and that you’re never too little (or too young) to change it. Each week presented the different aspects of climate change in a child-friendly, easily digestible format, its threat to the environment and different ways to prevent or help mitigate the issue. I also incorporated a weekly kindness challenge to encourage the children to uplift one another and themselves because that will make the world a better place.
